For 2 people
Ingredients:
4 slices of
brioche or white bread
2 eggs
1 cup of
fresh cream (table cream)
gruyère or
emmental cheese (grated)
2 slices of
cooked ham (the best you can get)
Salt and
pepper to taste
Directions:
Mix the eggs
and cream well until it becomes creamer at pinch of salt and pepper. Put 2 of slices
of bread on a baking sheet and with a spoon spread the cream over the center of
the bread and make sure the liquid is absorbed.
Sprinkle a
generous portion of the grated cheese over the slice of bread.
Add the ham
and add the other slice of bread over and the remaining cream covering the
bread with the remaining grated cheese.
Baked it in
a pre-heated oven 475ºF for about 15 minutes or the cheese is browning.
Obs.: green
salad goes well with the dish.
